  • Solder-free Virginize (OBD / BOOT mode): Reset used BDC02 ECUs to a virgin state via OBD or BOOT mode so they can be reused on another vehicle.

  • OBD-mode Virginizing Note: OBD-mode virginizing requires the 32-bit security key. If you do not have the key, retrieve it first using BOOT mode (solder-free) and then proceed with OBD virginizing.

  • Plug-and-play with Key Tools: Built to work with OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 and KeyMaster G3 USA.

How to Use (Quick Steps)

  1. BOOT mode (recommended for IMMO read / key extraction):

    • Connect the P005 adapter to the BDC02 ECU’s BOOT pads using the included solder-free connector.

    • Connect the adapter to your KeyMaster G3 device.

    • Use the KeyMaster G3 software to read IMMO data and extract the 32-bit security key if needed.

  2. OBD mode (virginize):

    • If you already have the 32-bit security key, connect the adapter to the vehicle OBD port and run the virginize function on KeyMaster.

    • If you do not have the key, retrieve it first via BOOT mode (see step 1), then complete virginizing.

Important: BOOT-mode access is the fallback to retrieve security key data if OBD virginizing is blocked by missing keys.
