Designed for technicians servicing heavy-duty vehicle electronics, this version provides access to supported ECU programming and related functions through compatible PC-based protocols and connection modes

OBDSTAR P50 G2 – Airbag, Battery & SAS Reset

The OBDSTAR P50 G2 complements the ECU MASTER platform with dedicated functions for SRS airbag modules, battery management systems, and steering angle sensors.

A. Airbag Reset

• Supports more than 16,600 ECU part numbers, according to the manufacturer's coverage information.

• Supports applicable CAN FD and VPW protocols.

• Covers supported passenger cars, joint-venture vehicles, and electric vehicles.

• Includes coverage for selected Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, BYD, GM, Land Rover, Jaguar, Li Auto, XPeng, Xiaomi Auto, Hongqi, Changan, Geely, Chery, AITO, and other vehicle brands.

• Supports one-click processing of applicable JOYSON/TAKATA SPC airbag systems on supported new-energy vehicles.

• Supports data reading from applicable encrypted RH850-based SRS ECUs using the C4-06 RH850/V850 adapter kit.

Airbag functions depend on the specific ECU, vehicle, fault condition, and supported procedure.

B. Battery Management System (MVBM) Reset

• Supports applicable 48V, 16V, and 12V battery systems.

• Supports OBD, BENCH, BOOT, and JTAG connection modes where available.

• Designed for supported battery management system service and reset operations.

C. Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) Reset

• Supports SAS reset functions on applicable vehicles.

• Includes supported BENCH-mode operations designed to reduce the need for module disassembly.
