Do I Need to Adapt or Reprogram the Module?
No adaptation or reprogramming is required if your vehicle can still start (even after several tries). Simply replace the faulty components using this repair kit and reinstall the module.
Important: If your car still starts, the immobilizer and steering lock system are not fully disabled. In such cases, coding is not necessary.

The module is located on the lower half of the steering column

You do NOT need to remove the entire steering lock to access it

This kit repairs common micro switch and relay issues

This kit will NOT fix the problem if the motor inside the module is damaged
